Fortunately our landlord I had purchased a stand alone air conditioner for us to use until the central air was repaired. I do not remember the model of this unit but I do know that it was a Honeywell. The unit was very efficient. Fortunately enough it was able to cool two rooms in the house the living room and the bedroom. While the temperatures outside were in the high 90s we were able to keep those two rooms in the high 70s. The airflow was great we were able to adjust it to different angles. It was also very quiet so it did not interfere with listening to the TV or the radio or being on the phone. It also didn’t seem to use a whole lot of electricity. I would recommend that one should be kept in an emergency. Such as the central air going out.
