I have central air in my home, an old 2 story house, but for some reason my bedroom on the second floor gets so much hotter than any other room. I’ve tried using a window AC unit, but my window wells are too deep which causes the air conditioner not to drain properly and in turn causing damage to my window sills. In order to sleep somewhat comfortably I have to put the ceiling fan on high and use a tower fan just to make it somewhat bearable in my bedroom. I would love to have a more robust AC system to use. Something that is easy to use, portable and built to last. I appreciate features such as a remote control, multiple speed settings, ability to adjust the temp by degree (not just low, medium and high) and being able to change the direction of the air flow (an oscillating function would be amazing). I would really like to find a product that is energy efficient, but also does a good job of keeping the area cool. I know I would spend more time outside during the summer if I had a way to cool it down.
